　　保護(hù)生態(tài)，利用生物多樣性，使普洱市變得獨(dú)特而迷人。來過普爾的游人感慨的贊譽(yù)普洱：“是一個連空氣都洋溢著浪漫的地方”；在聯(lián)合國環(huán)境署官員的眼中普洱是“世界的天堂、天堂的世界”；而一位法國設(shè)計大師則認(rèn)為：“普洱是上帝在心情特別舒暢的時候創(chuàng)造的地方”。

　　動植物“王國”

　　普洱市是中國西南邊陲一顆璀璨的綠海明珠，是北回歸線上面積最大的綠洲，素有“綠海明珠”、“動植物王國”和“天然氧吧”之美譽(yù)。氣候溫和，年平均氣溫18.9℃，冬無嚴(yán)寒，夏無酷暑，氣候宜人，被譽(yù)為“春天中的春天，春城中的春城”。在污染越來越嚴(yán)重的今天，普洱空氣質(zhì)量狀況優(yōu)良率依然保持在100%。中心城區(qū)每立方厘米空氣中負(fù)氧離子含量最高達(dá)12500多個，高出世界衛(wèi)生組織規(guī)定的“清新空氣”標(biāo)準(zhǔn)12倍多。

　　普洱自然生態(tài)環(huán)境優(yōu)良，生物多樣性豐富，生態(tài)生命系統(tǒng)完整，是云南省“動植物王國”的縮影，也是全球生物多樣性最為富集的地區(qū)之一。該市分布著16個自然保護(hù)區(qū)，擁有高等植物5600種、動物1500種，保存著全國近1/3的物種，被譽(yù)為云南省“動植物王國”的王宮。

　　With a history of thousand years, Pu’er has a unique tea culture. Along the ancient Tea and Horse Road (an ancient Chinese commercial passage), people could still hear the clang of the gong, the background music for cultural communication between Pu’er and the world.

　　“Tea Origin” of the World

　　In the mountains of Pu’er, there are many tea fossils, including those of the wide-leaf magnolia (35.4 million years old), Chinese magnolia (25 million years old). There are wild ancient tea plants that have grown for 2,700 years, arbor tea plants that are over a thousand years old, and a million mu of tea gardens that have been cultivated for 1,800 years. These five pieces that demonstrate the continual evolution of tea, have resulted in Pu’er being honored with the title of the world’s “Origin of Tea” by the International Tea Committee in 2013.

　　Health Paradise

　　Mr. Dewei Qian, the mayor of Pu’er said that Pu’er is a place undamaged by pollution, with gifts bountifully bestowed by nature and Heaven. The people in Pu’er must protect the environment as they would their own eyes, reduce interference with nature and the ecology and forge a model of harmony between humanity and nature. Pu’er aims to protect biological diversity through actions such as the establishment of a “canteen for elephants", “aid station for wild animals” and the implementation of protection activities for the black crested gibbon. This paradise belongs to animals, plants and microorganisms as well as humans.
